What is Reflection for UNIX and Digital?
Reflection for UNIX and Digital is software that allows the user to connect to terminals that run on UNIX and OpenVMS from a Windows computer. The software was originally developed by WRQ, but when WRQ was acquired by a group of investors, the company was merged with Attachmate, a previous competitor of WRQ. The merged company came to be known as AttachmateWRQ. The company now is part of The Attachmate Group of Companies.
Reflection was further developed and now has a complete suite of terminal emulation software for desktop computers. The software suite includes Reflection Enterprise 2011, Reflection Professional Suite 2011, Reflection Standard Suite 2011, Reflection for IBM 2011, Reflections for UNIX and OpenVMS 2011, Reflection for NonStop 2011 Add-On and Reflection Suite for X 2011.
The software basically enables network administrators to link to UNIX and other systems directly from their Windows computers. This makes it easier for them to manage their IT resources, transfer files and data through an FTP client. The software also includes Microsoft Visual Basics Applications for macros recording. To edit a recorded VBA macro, Microsoft Visual Basic Editor can be accessed through the software.
