RationalPlan Viewer
If you are looking for RationalPlan Viewer, you have come to the right place. We explain what RationalPlan Viewer is and point you to the official download.
What is RationalPlan Viewer?
RationalPlan Viewer is a project management application comparable to Microsoft Project. In fact, it is compatible with MS Project files, being capable of opening files with the MPP, XML, and MPX extensions.
RationalPlan Viewer is—as the name makes clear—a viewer. This is to say that users cannot expect to use it for the purpose of actually creating files meant for project management, whether they are charts, lists, timelines, or schedules. What they can expect it to do, however, is open the vast majority of project management files, giving users a single, easily distributable solution that allows the whole team to access all relevant project files quickly and without having to install resource-hungry programs for that purpose.
The application supports printing of files, so users can distribute the information on hand not just through electronic channels. It also supports direct-from-program emailing of files—a time-saving feature for those who communicate key project data to their teams through email. It is a free program and is capable of connecting to RationalPlan Project Server, and it can operate perfectly on computers using the Windows operating system.
