What is QXpress?
QXpress or QXpress Scheduling Software is a utility for QuickBooks. This QuickBooks add-on enables the user to schedule tasks that they perform for clients listed in their QuickBooks database.
Users will be provided with a notification for a scheduled task or service, which eliminates incidents of forgetting to provide scheduled services to specific clients. Schedules can be set for a one-time client service, or on a weekly, monthly or quarterly period; depending on the user’s requirements.
The software utilizes the QX-SYNC technology developed by Marathon Data Systems, the same developers of the QXpress software. QX-SYNC is technology that allows for smooth integration of QXpress with QuickBooks.
Apart from scheduling services, the software also provides the user with utilities for scheduling data backups, and notifications for other tasks such as refreshing the scheduling calendar, and other reminders.
Users are also able to set permission parameters with regards to accessing client data by other employees, such as allowing read-only access to the data to prevent unauthorized modifications. Lastly, users can also create a list of prospective clients directly on QXpress without the data being automatically integrated with QuickBooks.
