What is PPTV?
PPTV is software that enables users to watch live video streams from the Internet, specifically shows that are provided by the PPTV online channel. The channel site and the software are Chinese-based, which means that majority of the shows (TV shows and movies) are mainly featured shows in China. However, there are also quite a few English shows that are provided by the channel from time to time; and these include popular TV series shown in Canada and the United States. Most of the English shows provided by the PPTV channel are those shown in popular US networks such as ABC, NBC, and CBS.
The user interface is customizable, particularly when it comes to its language settings. Non-Chinese speaking users are given the option to change the language of the interface to English. The software is enabled to organize TV channels, and provide the user with a TV guide so the user can see schedules of shows, and be guided accordingly.
PPTV is free software that is enabled to run on Windows operating systems. A mobile version is also available for Android-based devices.
