PlayOn Settings

If you are looking for PlayOn Settings, you have come to the right place. We explain what PlayOn Settings is and point you to the official download.

What is PlayOn Settings?

PlayOn is software that you install on a Windows computer to enable you to watch online videos directly on your TV. The software is from MediaMall Technologies. To enable you to watch online streams on your TV, you need only to install the software, connect your gaming console to the TV, and directly stream online movies straight to the TV through your console. In other words, your computer acts as a media server to which compatible devices connect, in order to watch online videos through the television.

The software allows you to access some of the most popular video-streaming sites today, as well as Internet TV. Compatible devices are gaming consoles such s Wii, PlayStation, Xbox 360, Apple iPhone and iPad, and Android phones.

PlayOn Settings give you information about the status of your media server, as well as control when to start or stop the software program. To view status of your software, launch PlayOn and click on General Settings. From the General Settings window, you will see the following on the right pane: Current running status, Start/Stop PlayOn server, Automatically run server when PC starts, Always show icon in system tray and Parental Controls.
