Model Editor
If you are looking for Model Editor, you have come to the right place. We explain what Model Editor is and point you to the official download.
What is Model Editor?
Model Editor is a program can be used to build simple 3D models from scratch, or to view and organize more complex 3D models which were made through the use of full-featured 3D modeling tools. The Model Editor also supports different 3D model formats which are used in the development of the DirectX app. Through this program, users will learn how to view, build, and organize 3D models. Using the Model Editor, every new object starts as one of the basic 3D shapes or primitives that are included inside the Model Editor. To create new and exceptional objects, users can add a primitive to the scene and then modify its look by changing its vertices. For intricate shapes, users can place additional vertices by using extrusion or subdivision, and then adjust them.
The Model Editor toolbars include commands which can help users work with 3D models. Commands which affect the shape of the Model Editor are found inside the Model Editor Mode toolbar in the main Visual Studio window. Modeling tools and scripted commands are found on the Model Editor toolbar on the Model Editor design surface. The 3D scene is delivered according to the view, which can be imagined as a type of virtual camera that has both an orientation and a position.
