MagicISO

If you are looking for MagicISO, you have come to the right place. We explain what MagicISO is and point you to the official download.

What is MagicISO?

The MagicISO application is an optical disc (CD or DVD) imaging utility whose capabilities including the extraction (ripping), creation, editing, and saving (burning) disc image files. These disc images are clones of what can be found in an actual, physical optical disc that contains data, and can be recognized by the computer as it would a physical disc with the use of a virtual drive, like that of Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%. MagicISO is also known technically as the MagicISO Maker and offers such tools as the ability to convert between disc image formats, for example from ISO to CUE or BIN and vice versa, or even to and from MagicISO's very own Universal Image Format (UIF), which adds compression and password protection to disc images (and even advanced features like multi-session images). It is offered in a shareware format, in which a trial version can be tried out for free, although the trial is time-limited and won't be able to handle disc images larger than 300 MB in size.

MagicISO can also edit the contents of the disc image, and can easily create disc images from an existing optical disc or a bootable disc image file (used, for example, in reinstallation of a computer's operating system).
