What is LOGO!Soft Comfort?
LOGO!Soft Comfort is software from Siemens that provides the user with a programming module for developing control programs. By being provided with an application for simulating LOGO! units on the computer, the user is able to create, test and execute control programs directly from the PC. The user is enabled to create function blocks or program elements, and then connecting these on the creation window through drag and drop mode. The program provides the user with a Graphical User Interface (GUI), wherein control programs can be created. On the GUI, the user is provided with a Drawing Board, a standard toolbar, tools toolbar, status bar and scroll bars.
Through the software, the user is able to call a simulation of the unit in offline mode, to view the various functions and documentations related to the control programs that have been created so far.
Apart from providing users with a facility for creating control programs, the program also provides the user with tools for coming up with a comprehensive documentation of each program created, and the option to print these documentations.
