If you are looking for Logicity, you have come to the right place. We explain what Logicity is and point you to the official download.

What is Logicity?

Logicity is a third-party application (meaning without SAP AG’s official sanction) and is designated as a “viewing” application, allowing users to access a file that would otherwise require its actual software to open. By using Logicity, clients can open a Crystal Reports file, and use the application to export, save, or even refresh data. Logicity is not a simple viewer, however, as it offers many tools at its disposal. This includes a dashboard interface for all available reports, the ability to export each report as an Excel spreadsheet or a PDF document, send a report via e-mail, batch e-mailing (called “bursting”), a scheduling function to automate the generation of reports, and some administrative operations like putting passwords to protect certain reports or encrypting a specific report so that they can be opened only with Logicity.

Logicity integrates well with Crystal Reports via the use of scripts. Crystal Reports, by itself, is a business intelligence platform developed by SAP AG, which are primarily intended for small to medium enterprises. The main feature set of Crystal Reports is the automatic generation of reports from various sources and databases.
