The fax function of the device allows the user to fax a document directly from the computer. This function is enabled through the LanFax software.
The application LAN-Fax Cover Sheet Editor allows the user to input the necessary information on the fax cover sheet before sending it to the specified recipient. The editor can be accessed from the File menu of the document window, under the Print option.
From the Print window, the user has to select the LanFax driver. After the selection, a window will appear which has the following options: Address Book, Specify Destination, Send Options and E-mail Settings. From the Send Options tab, the user needs to select the Attach Cover Sheet option, and from here, Edit Cover Sheet will open the Cover Editor.
On the Cover Editor window, the user is provided with the following input fields: Company Name, Department Name, Contact Name, Telephone Number and Fax Number. The user may also include a message by ticking off the With a Message box. A message box is provided right on the Cover Editor window.
