What is Icy Tower?
Icy Tower is a software game from Free Lunch Design, designed by Johan Peitz. The goal of the game is to help the characters, Harold the Homeboy and his friends, get to the top of the tower without falling off of the steps. The climber has to avoid various falling objects to prevent being hit and falling off the platforms. The faster the climber goes, the higher he goes up the platforms, jumping as high as three stories at a time.
The default control buttons for the game are the left, right and up arrow keys on the keyboard. The user however, has the option to configure the buttons to suit their preference. There is also a volume control included on the screen to increase or decrease the sound effects integrated into the game.
The game is offered as free software that can be installed on Windows computers. There are also versions of the game that are compatible with Apple devices and Android-enabled mobile gadgets.
