HTML-Kit

If you are looking for HTML-Kit, you have come to the right place. We explain what HTML-Kit is and point you to the official download.

What is HTML-Kit?

HTML-Kit is software developed by Chami.com whose main function is to provide developers with an HTML editor. The software utilizes syntax highlighting, which displays source codes in various colors and fonts that allow for easier identification of errors in syntax and programming or markup language.

Supported programming languages, on top of HTML, include the following: XML, which is short for Extensible Markup Language; XHTML, for Extensible HyperText Markup Language; XSLT, for Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations; CSS, for Cascading Style Sheets; and VB and VBScript, for Visual Basic and Visual Basic Script Edition, respectively.

JavaScript, JavaServer Pages, C, C++ and C#, PHP, Perl, Python, SQL, Ruby, Active Server Pages, and Lisp are likewise supported by the software.

HTML-Kit is originally distributed as freeware, but the latest version of the software, which has also been renamed as HTML-Kit Tools, is distributed as paid software. The last free version of HTML-Kit is HTML-Kit 292.

The Tools version allows the user to create a profile for each project, and browse and install plug-ins directly from the user interface. There is a free trial version of HTML-Kit Tools available for Windows 2000, XP, Vista and 7.
