If you are looking for HFSExplorer, you have come to the right place. We explain what HFSExplorer is and point you to the official download.

What is HFSExplorer?

HSF Explorer is an application that can read the file systems HFS (Mac OS Standard), HFS+, (Mac OS Extended), and HFSX (Mac OS Extended with case sensitive file names). HSF Explorer also allows the user to browse his Mac volumes with a graphical file system browser, extract files and copy them to the hard disk, and view detailed information about the volume, and create disk images from the volume. HSF Explorer can also read most .dmg disk images that were created on a Mac. This includes zlib or bzip2 compressed images, and AES-128 encrypted images. It supports the partition schemes Master Boot Record, GUID Partition Table, and Apple Partition Map natively.

HFS Explorer is written mostly in Java 5, optionally using some Java 8 features with some Windows-specific parts written in C, in order to be able to get raw access to block devices, as well as to be able to create a practical launcher application. HFS Explorer is an application that can read Mac-formatted hard disks and disk images.
