What is Graphic Workshop?

Graphic Workshop—or more properly, Graphic Workshop Professional—is an image management solution. It has an extensive set of features, including inbuilt support for more than 70 image file formats. Even more importantly, it is capable not just of viewing these formats but also of converting them. It can also show images in slide show mode.

The Graphic Workshop application is also an image editing application. It is not at the level of dedicated suites such as Adobe Photoshop, but for an image management program, its editing tools are reasonably rich; there are tools for applying filters to photos, for transforming photos in various ways, for photo resizing (with anti-aliasing on and off options), for color and contrast setting, for adjusting brightness of photos, for image cropping, and more. There are even tools in the software for fractal and texture generation.

The program is also able to import image files from various capture devices. Nearly all commands are available for batch operations. Users can add text to their images and even watermark them for author signature purposes. The software is meant only for Windows computers.
