What is GalilTools?

GalilTools is a program that Galil controller owners can use to analyze, set up, and tune their controllers. Equipped with a user-friendly visual interface, the program boasts a large set of utilities that allow it to carry out its work. First, it comes with a Scope tool for multi-parameter analysis of up to 8 data channels in just one data sequence. It also has a Program Editor for application scripting and with support for multiple program editing windows to be open at the same time. It has a Watch tool for controller parameter viewing in table form, and a Terminal tool to serve as the main utility for working with Galil commands and responses from the controller. It also has a Communication Library that allows users to more easily communicate with their controllers using various programming languages. It also has a Tuning tool for PID parameter selection.

The program is capable of operating on Linux and Windows operating systems. There are actually 2 versions of it, one that comes at a price and another that comes at no price but which has limited tools in exchange.
