What is FusionHDTV?
The FusionHDTV is an HDTV system that includes the FusionHDTV card, setup CD, manual, internal cable to sound card for extension output audio, external connection cable, FusionHDTV transceiver, and remote receiver. The setup CD contains the main FusionHDTV software, along with a DirectX 9 installer. The FusionHDTV system, in order to run, has several minimum requirements; a Pentium 4 processor and a 1.6G DDR266 memory, or an AMD Athlon XP 1600+. Pentium 3 processor can be enough if an ATI Radeon card is used.
The FusionHDTV system lets users have a maximum five times resolution in comparison to analog TV. It is also described to have better picture quality on HDTV screens, LCD TVs, and low resolution CRT. The system also compatible with VGA cards such as Nvidia MX Series and later chipsets, as well as ATI Radeon chipsets. It can also work in tandem with Intel, VIA, SIS, and other motherboard chipsets. Features of the software along with the system include the ability to record live HDTV broadcasting streams to a PC and play them back anytime. A single sub-channel or whole stream recording can also be chosen. Other features include support for all the formats of Australian AS4933 spec, high reception rate, capture and convert analog video signals to VCD/ SVCD/ DVD formats, as well as many others.
