General categories of the modules include the following: File Management, Reports, Charts, Books, Data Entry, and Sourcing and Mapping tools. Its File Management tools enable the user to import or export GEDCOM Genealogical Data Communication) files, merge files from different sources, create backups, view several database entries simultaneously, and share files with other users (between Windows and Mac, and vice-versa). File sharing between the two OS platforms is possible through a migration tool.
As a report-generating tool, the user is able to create various types of reports, from data errors to family groups, descendants to documented events, marriage, parentage, source usage, and events, plus various other reports that are based on data gathered and inputted through the software.
