What is Family Historian?
Family Historian is a genealogy package that lets users trace back family trees from hundreds of years ago. It is developed and released by Family Historian Company.The basic information about the software can be found in the Getting Started packet of the software entitled Getting the Most from Family Historian in the e-book form.
The software lets users to generate a family tree that includes information on the descendants and relatives of the user. Charts are also provided to present more detailed information about each entry. The family tree is presented in a website-like interface that can also be recorded using CDs and DVDs. A wizard can be activated anytime assistance is necessary. The results of search can also be transferred and produced in a booklet-type of document.
Diagrams produced using the software are interactive and can be navigates using tool bars. They are also printable and can be sent via e-mail. You may also find over 30 reports and guides that you can use in documenting all pertinent information gathered about your family using the software. The software can also be used with GEDCOM.
