What is EyeCare Player?

EyeCare Player is a video player from EyeCare Technology Inc. that is able to play various popular video formats. Video formats supported by the software include Windows Media, Real Media, MPEG 1/2, MPEG-4, Flash Media, DVD, DIVX and MKV. The program is also designed to play audio files, some of which include MP3 files, MP2, FLAC, AC3, AMR, WAV and WMA.

When the user right-clicks any area of the player, a menu will appear that provides the user with several options: Full Screen, Video Size, Aspect Ratio, On Top, Player Presets, Audio Channel, Audio Track, EyeCare Settings, and Media Information.

From the Player Settings, users may enable the player to automatically close the full screen mode after playback, display an icon in the notification area, remember DVD position, activate GPU encoder, and render the player to be always on top.

A list of hotkeys is also provided from the Settings tab. Ctrl + O opens a file, Ctrl + C closes a file, Alt + X exits the player, and Ctrl + D opens the DVD option.
