ExpressSCH

If you are looking for ExpressSCH, you have come to the right place. We explain what ExpressSCH is and point you to the official download.

What is ExpressSCH?

ExpressSCH is a free computer-aided design (CAD) program from ExpressPCB. The software provides the user, generally a PCB (printed circuit board) designer, with various tools for creating the schematics of the circuit prior to working on the actual design of the PCB.

Various editing tools are provided to the user, and these are generally displayed as a side toolbar on the program’s user interface. Hovering the mouse on each tool will display brief information about the tool. Tools included provide the following editing options: integrate a component into the schematic drawing (place component), integrate a symbol, wire components together, disconnect a wire, attach a rectangle, line or circle to a new component, place pin on new component, or draw text. The user is also provided with a zoom option to enlarge the view of a specific area within the drawn schematic.

Additionally, the place component option on the toolbar displays several other options. These options basically allow the user to configure the component’s rotation prior to being integrated into the schematic design.
