What is EclipseCrossword?

EclipseCrossword is a program developed by Green Eclipse to provide users with a tool for creating crossword puzzles. The program is able to automatically create a crossword puzzle out of words and clues provided by the user.

The user is provided with a window for adding words and clues. There is a specific field for the words and another field for the clues. All words that are inputted by the user are generated in a list, which is displayed on the left side of the same window. Number of words included in the list is displayed under the Tools tab, still on the same window. The user also has the option to remove words from the list.

All options on the user interface are provided at the bottom part of the window. Once a puzzle has been created, the user can modify it by clicking the Back button. A link for modifying the puzzle is likewise provided on the window of the generated puzzle.

The puzzle can be printed, uploaded as a Web page, or exported to a desktop publishing application.
