Disketch refers to the Disketch Disc Label Software from NCH Software. The application’s purpose is to provide users with the tools for creating their own professional-looking designs for disc storage media labels, such as CD labels and DVD labels. That means users can create stylish covers for their jewel cases, stick-on disc labels, or even direct-to-disc labels. The last option will also require the user to have a printable-CD-compatible printer on hand, of course.
Disketch is able to generate labels for just about any type of disc storage, be it DVD or Blu-Ray. Users of the program can make use of the bundled media and graphics for their designs or import their own visual elements, such as photos and scenic backgrounds. Text tools in the program support text drag-and-drop positioning, resizing, color-selection and font-selection. Users can also simplify their work by importing track names directly from their disc and having that information printed in the label.
The program will work with both Windows and Mac OS X computers, and is compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the OS when it comes to Windows.
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files Disketch can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
