The Delcam software license file is also known as the PAF. Anytime there is a change in the user’s license, such as renewing his maintenance, adding new software, and change dongles, the user will need to update his PAF together with his Dongle. His PAF will also enable him to run his Delcom products. This file needs to be placed in the proper folder on each computer that is running the Delcam software. For a new software installation, he will also need to create the folder first. The user’s PAF should not be edited or changed in any way or his software may not run.
The easiest way to update the user’s PAF is to use Delcam’s PAF Wizard utility. From the Windows Start menu, he can go to the Delcam folder and find the shortcut for PAFWizard. He should look for version 2010 and above. The user can then start the PAFWizard utility by going to the ‘Tools’ menu, and clicking on ‘Check for PAF updates’. PAFWizard will then backup the old PAF that he is using.
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files Delcam PAFWizard can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
