What is DbVisualizer?

DB Visualizer is a data base tool available to database administrators, analysts, and developers. This tool became popular since it is used on most operating systems, and can access a broad range of databases. The latest version adds a tool tip for long filenames in Scripts and Favorites tabs. DB Visualizer is a database browser where users will be able to see object details and object management features. It has visual support, letting them change, modify, and build characteristics for database objects such as tables. Users will also be able to edit support for functions, triggers, procedures, and packages. DB Visualizer has extended database support for editing table data. DB Visualizer manages editing table data that includes binary/BLOB and CLOB data types.

The SQL editor has support for parameterized SQLs, a visual query builder, auto completion, an explain plan, an SQL formatter, and can export big result sets and DDLs for table data and database objects. It has DBA features for managing storage, security parameters, and database instances inside the server. DB Visualizer has database specific support for the following: Sybase, Vertica, Informix, DB2, SQL Server, JavaDB/Derby, SQLite, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Neoview, and NuoDB. It runs on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux/Unix.
