Comical

If you are looking for Comical, you have come to the right place. We explain what Comical is and point you to the official download.

What is Comical?

Comical is a program that provides the user with a comic archive reader. Developed by James Athey, the software is able to open CBR and CBZ comic files which allows the user to read their comic pages directly on their computers.

CBR and CBZ are the most common archive formats utilized for comics and comic books shared over the Internet. When the user downloads any of these comic archives, Comical allows the user to open the files and displays these onto the Graphical User Interface. At the bottom of the viewing window, the control buttons are displayed to enable the user to go back to the previous page or move forward to the next page.

The program also comes with a list of comic books that can be readily browsed or read by the user. On the GUI, at the leftmost side of the viewer, a list of available comics are displayed. When the user clicks on any of comics in the list, the program will launch it and go on to display the first page of the comics.

This is free software available online.
