What is ChessBase Light?

ChessBase Lights is a stand-alone chess player and database that provides access to games and tutorials and can be used even by beginners. On-line players may opt to play chess games of different levels, alone or in multi-player mode. The chess on-line database contains 6 million of chess games. The most recent version of the game is called the ChessBase 12.

Chessbase has been equipped with engine analysis mechanism with allows users to analyze and set up the game by clicking on icons.
