The CaptureCAM Player utility from Cintinel is fairly simple and straightforward about what it does: it acts as a screen capture instrument for users who want to record their activities on their computers. This means that it is often employed when recording tutorials, guides or other demonstrative presentations that require the user to show the audience exactly how he arrived at something while using his computer system or the applications installed on it. For example, it can be used to record a video of a user’s screen while he is playing a game.
The program does not really offer much besides that screen (and sound) capture. The only other true point of note regarding its abilities is its powerfully compressed recordings: these are saved in a proprietary format that can be viewed with the program as well. The recordings are very often small enough to be eligible for emailing. However, since they can only be opened using the utility itself, the user will have to ensure that his audience has a working copy of the application installed as well; else the recording shall not be viewable.
Our users primarily use CaptureCAM Player to open these file types:
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files CaptureCAM Player can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
