Canon’s Easy-PhotoPrint EX is a PIXMA program that can be used in conjunction with the company’s printers in order to print images as well as perform corrections on them prior to printing. The corrections that can be made with the software include the removal of red-eye effects for those whose cameras do not correct it automatically. The software can also correct flesh tone errors in captured images, crop files to a desired size or shape, and carry out smoothing functions to reduce facial wrinkles. Standard one-click photo editing functions like adjusting brightness and sharpness are also available through the program.
The software also allows users to control the settings for the actual print. For instance, users can select the layout format for the images before printing. They are given preset options such as Wallet (which produces 9 images in a wallet-friendly size) and Index. Users may choose to enable borders or disable them. Using the program makes it possible too for the user to print out calendars and albums.
The program can only be used with the company’s inkjet printer products. The formats supported are BMP, JPG/JPEG, TIF/TIFF, EPP, and PICT/PCT.
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
