CadStd

If you are looking for CadStd, you have come to the right place. We explain what CadStd is and point you to the official download.

What is CadStd?

CadStd is a software that is used for Computer-Aided Designing and Drafting. This software is published by Apperson & Daughters. This is used by professionals from the construction industry such as architects and engineers so as to generate documents and plans using the ANSI standards in drawing.

CadStd has two different versions. One is Lite and the other one is pro. Lite is a freeware, meaning you can download it from the website without any extra cost. Any documents produced using the Lite version can still be accessed and modified even using Pro. The Pro version has the capacity to generate isometric drawings from any given orthographic layout. There are commands you can use to modify the drawings. These commands can be accessed using icons found in the tool bars or by typing in key letters or key words.

CadStd does not restrict you from using other similar software. You can share and collaborate with colleagues using a different platform such as AutoCAD. Drawing can also be exported in different file formats, particularly with DXF, HPGL/1 andSVG. This program also lets you work on 3D modeling which can be rendered using another third-party application.
