If you are looking for Balabolka, you have come to the right place. We explain what Balabolka is and point you to the official download.
What is Balabolka?
Balabolka is a program that reads texts aloud for users from a variety of file types which includes ODT, RTF, FB2, HTML, DOC, and PDF files. It uses the Speech API4 and 65 in Microsoft that lets users fine tune several voice parameters like pitch and rate. Also, the substitution list allows users to improve the articulation of voice quality. Generally, it supports control reading from the system tray or by the global hotkeys, skins, and background color.
In addition, with Balabolka, users can change numbers in the text with words, set the program to read foreign words with another voice, format the text, and find homographs in the text. Moreover, users can download a dictionary from the site with an integrated text spell-checker.
Balabolka also lets users save and edit text as audio files to formats like WMA, WAV, OOG, and OGG. The software can save synchronized texts to MP3 or external LRC files. So that, when playing a set of files, the text will be displayed in synchrony.
Finally, an array of conversion tools from different document formats as well as file splitter, screen magnification, and file compiler are provided in the Balabolka application.
