What is Audio Creator?
Cakewalk’s Pyro Audio Creator (stylized as “Pyro”) is an audio creation and editing tool that could be used by professional sound mixers, editors, producers, and newbies alike. Its virtual toolbox offers a bevy of utilities that allow handling of removable disc media such as ripping audio CDs, burning audio CDs, and audio file conversion to MP3, WMA, or AIFF. It can also encode, tag and organize the music on a computer and list them down in a music library a la iTunes, and also offers the users the capability to back up music files in a disc format (CD, DVD and Blu-ray discs are supported), and has built-in features to publish and share music directly to the Internet.
Pyro Audio Creator has a feature called 1-click recording, which is useful for audio output of musical performances and meetings, vinyl, cassettes and podcasts. It can edit out hiss & pop in audio tracks, cut and trim tracks, paste entire sections of a track, with crossfading and volume adjustment capabilities. The audio converted by Pyro can be played by any digital music player, such as iPod and Zune.
