What are ZFSENDTOTARGET files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a ZFSENDTOTARGET file or just wondering what they contain? We explain what these files are used for and show you software that we know can open or otherwise handle your files.
What is a ZFSENDTOTARGET file?
Files that contain the .zfsendtotarget file extension contain zipped file archives that have been created by the Windows operating system. These files are created when a user right-clicks on a file or a folder in the Windows environment and chooses the "Send To/Compressed Folder" option.
Users will often compress files when a file size is too large to be distributed via email or uploaded to the Internet easily. The file compression allows for a smaller file size and easier distribution of the file. Users will also send a file to a compressed folder when they have a large batch of files that they want to compress into a single archive file.
