VXD File
What are VXD files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a VXD file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your VXD files.
What is a VXD file?
A .VXD file is a VxD Driver file.
Files that contain the .vxd file extension are most commonly application helper files, also known as Windows virtual device driver files or value-added driver files. A device driver file (or value-added driver) maintains a computer's hardware, providing changeable settings for the device associated with the file.
These VXD files used by the Windows operating system provide added functionality and support within the associated Windows application driver. VXD files are typically installed with the Windows operating system and a variety of other software applications. They are associated with a specific software application, providing the application with support and additional functionality.
How to open VXD files
Important: Different programs may use files with the VXD file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your VXD file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
