What are VNT files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a VNT file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your VNT files.
What is a VNT file?
A .VNT file is a Sony Ericsson Mobile Phone Note file.
Sony Ericsson created the VNT file format for its line of mobile handsets. Serving as mobile phone vnote data files, these .vnt files are plain text documents generated when a user stores notes, calendar details, to-do lists, and so on in a supported Sony Ericsson mobile phone. Notes is an application that was designed for Sony Ericsson mobile phones. This software can be used to create, open, and edit these .vnt files. These files may also contain metadata details associated with the plain text notes saved by the user in the .vnt files. Although in plain text format, some of these .vnt files may be encoded with certain algorithms that could prevent it from being viewed properly through the use of a standard text editing application for Windows like Notepad, or for Mac OS X like Apple TextEdit. Notes is recommended for opening these .vnt files.
