TOAST File

What are TOAST files and how to open them

Are you having problems opening a TOAST file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your TOAST files.

What is a TOAST file?

A .TOAST file is a Toast disk image file.

Files that contain the .toast file extension are most commonly associated with the Roxio Toast disc authoring software. This software program is used to capture, copy, convert, burn and share media files that have been saved on a user's hard drive or downloaded from the Internet. The Roxio Toast software can also create hybrid images, where both the ISO volume of the imae and the HFS volume are superposed together.

The TOAST files contain CD or DVD images that have been created with the Roxio Toast software. The TOAST file format is similar to the ISO file format, but files with the .toast extension contain Toast-specific image formatting.

How to open TOAST files

Important: Different programs may use files with the TOAST file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your TOAST file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
