What are SNP files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a SNP file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your SNP files.
What is a SNP file?
SNP files have multiple uses, and Microsoft Access Report Snapshot is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.
Microsoft Access Report Snapshot
Microsoft developed the SNP file format, and the SNP files contain a snapshot of reports that have been created in the Microsoft Access database application.
An SNP file will preserve the report layout of an Access report, including all text and graphics. It will provide the information in snapshots that are viewable using the Microsoft Snapshot Viewer.
The SNP file format allows the information contained in different Access database reports to be sent to and viewed by individuals who do not have the Microsoft Access database software application.
