What are SFO files and how to open them

What is a SFO file?
Files that contain the .sfo file extension are most commonly used by the CuteFTP FTP program for the Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. These SFO files store the search settings that are used by the CuteFTP application for FTP connection purposes.
The .sfo file extension is also used for Bitstream font files. The Bitstream application is used for font creation by many professional ad agencies, graphic designers and desktop publishers.
The Sony PlayStation gaming console is also known to use the .sfo file suffix. These SFO files are used to save the settings files for the Sony PlayStation gaming console.
How to open SFO files
Important: Different programs may use files with the SFO file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your SFO file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
