RVT File
What are RVT files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a RVT file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your RVT files.
What is a RVT file?
A .RVT file is an Autodesk Revit Project file.
The .rvt file extension is used for a proprietary document file format developed by Autodesk. The Revit Architecture program, developed by Autodesk, is a CAD tool that allows users to create building and construction designs. When creating a design project using this software, the project is saved in the RVT file format.
Upon finalizing the design project for publication, Architecture Revit can export RVT project files to the DWFX format, the standard format for Architecture Revit projects.
As far as we know, these .rvt files can only be opened using the Autodesk Architecture Revit software. Revit is also used to create and edit the content of these RVT project files.
