Are you having problems opening a RUF file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your RUF files.
What is a RUF file?
Files that contain the .ruf file extension are most commonly associated with a variety of Samsung Blu-Ray DVD players.
The RUF files that are used by these Blu-Ray players contain the firmware that is used by the DVD player, such as the functions that are used to run the DVD player. The RUF files are commonly used to deploy firmware upgrades for the player using a USB storage device. These RUF files are saved in binary file format.
The ProWORX Nxt software application also uses the .ruf file suffix. These RUF files contain table reference files that are used by the application.
