RPD File
What are RPD files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a RPD file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your RPD files.
What is a RPD file?
A .RPD file is a RapidFile Data file.
RapidFile is a database management system. It provides fast access to large amounts of data, widely used in the 1980s and 1990s for tasks such as record-keeping and data reporting. .rpf files store the data managed by RapidFile. Each record consists of fields of applicable information - such as name, address, or phone number in a customer database.
Tools allow users to create and modify .rpf files, generate reports, and export data to other applications. But RapidFile is no longer actively developed or supported.
How to open RPD files
Important: Different programs may use files with the RPD file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your RPD file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
We have not yet verified any programs for Windows that work with this specific file format. If you know one, please use the 'Suggest a program' link below. Thanks!
