REGTRANS-MS File
What are REGTRANS-MS files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a REGTRANS-MS file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your REGTRANS-MS files.
What is a REGTRANS-MS file?
The .regtrans-ms file extension is used for dynamically-created files that are used by the Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems.
The REGTRANS-MS files are created in order to prevent the Windows registry from becoming corrupt. When a change to the registry is made, the changes are written to the REGTRANS-MS file before the change is written to the actual Windows registry. This allows the system to ensure that everything will work properly before permanent changes are made.
When the changes have been made and the system is working properly, the changes are normally written to the registry automatically and the REGTRANS-MS file is usually deleted.
How to open REGTRANS-MS files
