What are PSID files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a PSID file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your PSID files.
What is a PSID file?
A .PSID file is a Commodore 64 SID Music file.
These PSID files contain music composed for the Commodore 64 SID (Sound Interface Device) sound chip. The music was used in games and demoscene productions on the Commodore 64, a home computer popular in the 1980s and 1990s. C64 emulators and SID music file players let you play back these SID tunes on modern hardware.
