A RadPHP Project file stores the configuration for a project created using the Embarcadero RadPHP XE2 environment. It defines which PHP source files, HTML pages, forms, or templates belong to the project so that the IDE knows how to group, build, and debug them together.

The IDE writes the .PHPRJ file when you create or save a project. Users open this file through RadPHP to continue editing, organizing files, debugging, or deploying the project. Files added in the IDE (for example PHP or HTML files) are recorded inside this project configuration file so the IDE knows which files comprise the project.

Internal identifiers include an ASCII signature "[PHPProject]" at the very start of the file. Keywords appearing somewhere in the file include "VERSION", "FILES", "ITEM1", ".PHP" and also the literal string "PHPPROJECT". These labels map project settings, file-listing entries, and version info for the project.
