What is a PFT file?
PFT files have multiple uses, and ChiWriter Printer Font is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.

How to open PFT files
Important: Different programs may use files with the PFT file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your PFT file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
While we have not verified the apps ourselves yet, our users have suggested six different PFT openers which you will find listed below.

All known file formats using extension .PFT
While ChiWriter Printer Font is a popular type of PFT-file, we know of 2 different uses of the .PFT file extension. Different software may use files with the same extension for different types of data.
Playdate Font
We know that one PFT format is Playdate Font. We have not yet analyzed in detail what these files contain and what they are used for. We're working on it.
