ODP File
What are ODP files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening an ODP file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your ODP files.
What is an ODP file?
An .ODP file is an OpenDocument Presentation file.
Files that contain the .odp file extension are presentation documents that have been created using the StarOffice or OpenOffice software applications. The ODP files consist of slides containing images, text, and other media input.
The slides are used to create reports, slide shows, and electronic presentations.
The OpenOffice and StarOffice Presentation applications were introduced as an alternative to the Microsoft PowerPoint application. The ODP file format allows for sharing presentation documents across multiple applications and platforms. The files that the application creates are built using the OASIS XML-based OpenDocument standard.
