A .NK2 file is an Outlook Nick file.
NK2 file extension is commonly found in files used to store information and data regarding Microsoft Outlook Autocomplete. It is a database of names, words, and phrases commonly used by the user when typing messages and its content are derived from common usage of Outlook users. NK2 files also initiate a word tracking feature as soon as the user starts typing.
Outlook's auto-complete feature is embodied in the .nk2 file. It is helpful to users as it attempts to display varying suggestions and possibilities in words and names the users are typing.
