What are MFT files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a MFT file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your MFT files.
What is a MFT file?
MFT files have multiple uses, and MediaFACE Template is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.
MediaFACE Template File
The MediaFACE Template File is a proprietary file format used in the MediaFACE design software. It allows users to create custom labels and inserts for CDs, DVDs, and other types of disc media. The “.mft” files store design templates, including images, text, and layout information, allowing users to apply consistent designs across multiple disc labels.
Simply launch MediaFACE and select "File," then "Open," to open an ".mft" file. Navigate to the folder containing the desired template file, select it, and click “Open” to load it into the software. From there, you can customize the design, making any necessary changes or adjustments as needed.
When saving your work in MediaFACE, choose “File,” then “Save As” to create a new “.mft” file. Assign a descriptive name and choose an appropriate location for your file. By saving your design as an “.mft” file, you ensure that the template can be easily accessed and reused for future projects.
Sharing “.mft” files allows colleagues or collaborators to use the same template for their disc label designs, maintaining a consistent look and feel across multiple projects. It's important to note that to access and utilize “.mft” files, the recipient must have the MediaFACE software installed on their computer.
In short, MediaFACE Templates is a user-friendly tool that simplifies the process of creating custom disc labels. With its easy-to-use interface and versatile design options, it's the perfect solution for anyone looking to add a professional touch to their disc media.
