What is a MCO file?
A .MCO file is a MSN Messenger "Wink" Animation file.
Files with the .mco extension are used by the Windows Live Messenger instant messaging application. Windows Live Messenger allows users to communicate in real-time via online instant messaging technology.
The MCO files used by this software contain flash-based animations that are similar to emoticons but are animated and much larger in size.
These files are commonly referred to as Winks.
How to open MCO files
