Are you having problems opening a MAPIMAIL file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your MAPIMAIL files.
What is a MAPIMAIL file?
Files that contain the .mapimail file extension are most commonly used by a variety of email applications to enable right-click sending of the email messages that a user wishes to send using his or her preferred email program.
When a user enables the "Send To: Mail Recipient" option in their email application or right-clicks a file or folder in the Windows environment, the default email program will open up and attach the file to a new email message. The email that is then created is created with the .mapimail file extension.
The MAPIMAIL file format was created to save users time by making it possible to email files and folders with the one-click convenience offered by the feature.
