What is a LETTERHEAD file?

The .Letterhead file extension is frequently seen in files in line with the American Greetings' Creatacard and Broderbund PrintMaster professional editing applications.

The file extension LETTERHEAD is a data file type that contains different types of letterheads, may it be for business or casual use. LETTERHEAD files are used in creating various paper- based documents. The letterheads can be used to design stationery or to create a business letter that has a heading, which normally includes the logo of a company, business address, phone number, and other contact information.

The LETTERHEAD extension is commonly displayed with LET file extension. In addition, the .letterhead file type is also considered as a proprietary file extension, but users can convert the file to edit it using MS Word. By exporting it to .png format, .letterhead file becomes editable in MS Word.
